On May 31st 2008, the Canadian Provinces Ontario and Quebec will need to comply to new regulations concerning tobacco displays. All retail stores that sell cigarettes will need to conceal these from sight. However, according to CBC Canada half of the 10,000 convenience store owners in Ontario will not be ready for this change. Unfortunately, if they do not find an appropriate storage system by the deadline, store owners run the risk of getting fined.
