Georgia against Smoking
Anti-smoking wave which overwhelmed a big part of countries all over the world, reached Georgia. This sovereign state is bounded to the west by the Black Sea and shares borders with Turkey.
10 April 2013 - Georgia's prime minister Bidzina Ivanishvili made a proposal to impose more restrictions for smokers."It is necessary to toughen control in this area... I used to smoke for ten years, but when I married, wife asked me quit smoking, so I had quit, "- said the Prime Minister.
Anti-smoking campaign will be launched at the end of the month. However, Ivanishvili said nothing about any specific measures that the Georgian authorities are going to take.
