In Estonia excise tax on cigarettes will be increased in two steps
Estonian parliament with 65 votes has passed amendments in law for excise tax. Amendments stipulate that 20 per cent increase of excise tax on cigarettes, that were supposed to be made next year, will be made in couples of steps during two years.
According to amendments that were passed, in future, and then in 2012 excise tax will be annually increased by 10 per cent, informs BNS.
As it was told in draft law is also planned to restrict cigarettes market in Estonia.
